Many people are living with long term medical conditions or suffering from mental health issues, and may need to access their local health services more frequently. People also benefit from out-of-hours access to GP and Nurse appointments routinely.
To meet these needs, GP practices are working together with mental health services, pharmacies, social carers, voluntary groups and hospitals in their local areas, in groups known as Primary Care Networks (PCNs).
Woodlands Surgery belongs to a Primary Care Network known as 'Frognal'. We work primarily alongside three other GP surgeries in Sidcup; Barnard Medical Group, Sidcup Medical Centre and Station Road Surgery.
Patients are now able to book an appointment with a GP or Nurse on evenings and weekends, at Woodlands or a local surgery or location, within their Primary Care Network.
